Dual Admission, Dual Enrollment or Partnership Model

The Dual Admission or Dual Enrollment Model, also referred to as the Partnership Model, consists of an ADN and BSN program collaborating to provide a simultaneous pathways for students to take courses at both. Nursing students may be allowed to take the licensure exam after the ADN or BSN completion requirements, depending on the specific partnership.

According to the "APIN Final Program Summary and Outcomes" publication, this moves "the dialogue between academic institutions from one of competition and conflict to one of cooperation and provides a robust opportunity for practice-partner engagement and support."
